Lisa (she/her)

My name is Lisa and I use the pronouns she/her!

In March 2023, I started working at PULS*.In December 2023, I took over the management of PULS* and am really looking forward to seeing you and many new projects, experiences and conversations.

In my private life, I am very interested in art and spend most of my freetime at concerts or queer events.

You can contact me at any time, whether you want to exchange ideas or just get something off your chest.

Or do you feel like playing a round of table football? Don’t worry, I can take a defeat well 🙂

Franziska (she/her)

Hey,

I am Franziska (she/her) and have been part of the PULS* team as a freelancer for many years. Since March 2024, I have been working as a full-time social worker and am mainly responsible for girls’ work and social media. I am very much looking forward to many inputs, projects and evenings with you!

I like to play basketball and PC games, often go to the theater and queer events and like to eat a lot, preferably ramen and pizza (and everything with a lot of sauce).

See you at PULS*, for table football, snacking, chatting…

Tom (he/him)

Hello,

I’m Tom! I’ve been with PULS* since 2018 and primarily support trans*, inter*, and non-binary youth, as well as their families and professionals, who have questions about gender diversity.

If you need to talk, please get in touch – I offer consultations and am also available during PULS* opening hours.

In my free time, I spend a lot of time cycling or hiking in nature.

At PULS*, I’m always happy to play a game of table tennis or table football – and I’m always happy to join in with Skip-Bo or UNO.

I look forward to meeting you.

Valerie he/him

Hi!

I’m Valerie (he/him), 27 years old, and I’ve been working at PULS* since April 2025. I actually studied biochemistry—so something completely different—and I work in forensic medicine. For about three years now, I’ve also been volunteering with SCHLAU. Now I’m excited to be part of the PULS* team and I’m responsible for the boys’* program. In my free time, I enjoy DJing (bounce/groove/techno) or taking analog photos. I like to practice kung fu, do yoga, or play soccer. I’m interested in topics like critical masculinity, mindfulness, and self-care. At PULS*, you can always talk to me if you need help, someone to listen, or even just someone to play table football or (Concept) with.

I’m looking forward to seeing you all! 🙌

Valerie 🥰

Joshua Timmers he/him

Hey, my name is Joshua (he/him).

I’m studying social work and have been part of the PULS* team as a freelancer since February 2025, after having volunteered here for a few months.

I enjoy sports, walks in nature, and solving Sudoku puzzles. I spend a lot of time with my family and friends and occasionally explore new places in the world. I felt particularly at home in Madeira, Tenerife, and Portugal.

I enjoy talking openly about sensitive topics. Feel free to contact me, especially with questions/suggestions about your own identity and trans* issues. Of course, I’m also happy to listen to your everyday concerns. Go for it!

I look forward to seeing you at Puls*.

Kjell (he/him)

Hi!

I’m Kjell (he) and I’ve been with PULS* since 2025. Together with Mel, I’ve been coordinating the SCHLAU anti-discrimination project for quite some time now, and I’m also involved in PULS*’s work with boys*. I’m a social worker and have been studying archaeology (ancient stones) and art history (old paintings) on the side for ages. In my free time, I enjoy traveling or visiting museums, taking photos, and I’m a big film fan, especially of horror movies. Feel free to talk to me about anything; I have a strong connection to gay-related topics. I’m looking forward to chatting with you! 😊
